How It Started. How It Became a Success.
Before joining his eventual client, Ginzen had already experienced two offboardings—one because the firm lacked the resources to support remote work and another due to a project slowdown. Despite these setbacks, he remained committed to continuing his work through Legal Support Help.
When an opportunity with a Louisiana-based employment law firm came along, Ginzen initially had a very limited schedule of just two days a week, four hours per day. During this period, LSH provided additional paid training and temporary project opportunities while helping him build a consistent workload and gradually increase his client hours. Through consistent performance and continued support, his role gradually expanded. In less than three months, his schedule grew from two days a week to five days a week, eventually reaching eight hours per day.
As he gained the firm’s trust, Ginzen began supporting attorneys and taking on case management responsibilities. Within his first year, the client expressed interest in bringing him onto the firm’s team directly. The relationship continued beyond Ginzen’s transition, with the client later onboarding additional VA from LSH.
Ginzen’s story demonstrates how persistence, the right client-VA fit, and the opportunity to prove one’s capabilities can turn a limited part-time assignment into a long-term role and continued growth for both the VA and the client.
